NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF MEMBERS

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the members of Sport Climbing Australia is to be held at date and time listed below (during the Australian Boulder Climbing Championships):

 

Venue:           Australian Boulder Climbing Championships

Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre

Gillies Street North

Ballarat VIC 3350

Date/Time:    Saturday 10 October 2015 – 11.30am


Under the SCA Constitution Full Members over the age of 15, Registered Climbing Facility and Registered Non-Profit Climbing Facility are entitled to receive notice of, attend, and vote at the AGM.


Business to be conducted at the Annual General Meeting

  • Acceptance of previous AGM minutes
  • Business arising from previous AGM minutes
  • Tabling of Board Reports for 2015
  • Election of Board Members

Nominating for Office Bearer or Ordinary Member of the Board

  • Complete the “Nomination Form for Board Position” (available at the SCA website www.sportclimbingaustralia.org.au/)
  • The nomination form must be received by the Secretary seven (7) days prior to the AGM (by close of business Saturday 3 October, 2015). Note: the form must be in writing, signed, with consent of candidate and endorsement of two SCA members,

Proxy Vote

  • Complete the “Form for Appointment of Proxy” (available at the SCA website)
  • Notice to be given to Secretary no later than 24 hours prior to AGM
