Hi, I’m Max Botica.

I started climbing at 7 years old after I had my birthday party at a rock climbing gym. I loved it from the start and haven’t stopped climbing since!

I climb at The Boulder Hub in Western Australia. I love the climbing community at The Hub and my coaches Al and Christina are just the best! I train at a boulder gym, but I still love lead climbing just as much and wouldn’t be able to decide a favourite between the two.

This will be my second international competition and I’m looking forward to the challenges to come. I hope to gain so much from the experience, new knowledge about climbing and making new friends from around the world.
