The Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Committee represents another important step forward for the sport climbing community, ensuring that Sport Climbing Australia applies an intersectional lens to its decision-making and strategic priorities. The Committee provides guidance and oversight to help create a sport that is more inclusive, accessible and welcoming for all participants, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Through collaboration with athletes, coaches, volunteers, member organisations and other stakeholders, the Committee will support the development of policies, programs and initiatives that promote equity, address barriers to participation, and foster a culture of belonging across every level of the sport.
