Climb Again Initiative


On Friday 8 May 2020 Sport Climbing Australia held a meeting with climbing facility managers from all around Australia. The aim of the call was to provide facility managers with updates from Sport Climbing Australia as well as discuss an action plan for facilities re opening in the context of Covid 19.


The presentation was led by SCA Chair Romain Thevenot and SCV Chair and member of the IFSC medical comission Philip Goebel.


Sport Climbing Australia will be putting together a summary of the call incorparating feedback from facility managers to create the framework "Climb Again" shortly. It will also includes international research and recommendationd as well as input from the International Federation of Sport Climbing framework (currently being developped). It will be available for review and comments on this page.
