Sport Climbing Australia Administration Officer

Location: Work from home

Remuneration: Contract based on award rates

Hours: 12 hours per week

Sport Climbing Australia is seeking an Administration Officer to join our team. This role provides support to the board and undertakes administrative tasks involved with the management of the sport. If you have great attention to detail and people skills, apply to work with us now. 

The role reports directly to the board. 

Position Description

  • Preparation of items for the board meeting - membership report, minutes, action items
  • Answer email enquiries, maintain 'Info' email address
  • Management of members in the backend of our membership system
  • Send list of memberships to state bodies each month
  • Management of events in the backend of our membership system - setup, update registrations, send info to event organisers etc
  • Maintain a good relationship with partners and stakeholders
  • Creating and sending invoices from Xero, checking payments are made, calculate membership payments
  • Maintain communications with IFSC including registering athletes for events, managing International licences
  • Provide administrative support to the Coaching Team
  • General administrative tasks

Skills and Experience Requirements

The following skills and experience are required:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in administration and office support
  • Good knowledge of Word or Docs, Excel or Sheets and Google Drive
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent Communication skills and professional approach

The following skills and experience are desired:
  • Experience in Book keeping/Xero
  • Experience working with a board
  • Experience in administration of sports/climbing
  • Website or database administration
